EMC Creative Communities Advisory Group (ECCAG) is a group of culture and community-minded individuals who have their finger on the pulse across the electronic and dance music landscape in Australia and APAC. ECCAG will have a pivotal role in the design of EMC’s initiatives, programs and events and more broadly will support EMC’s growth as an organisation.

Daniella Ly / Del

Del is a multi-faceted music business professional whose work mainly focuses on events, touring and project management. Over the past 15 years, Del has worked on delivering over 600 events and has over 5 years of leadership experience. With a passion for community engagement and an interest in geopolitics, Del approaches her work through a collective lens, prioritising harmonious and enriching experiences for her team, clients and audiences alike.

Deepa

Deepa's deep connection to community and culture shapes her music projects. As a DJ and founder of the party Bypass, and a member of the South Asian collective Kerfew, she champions the Eoracore sound. Her work on FBi Radio's Thursday Sunset slot further highlights her mission to share a sense of unity. Known for her past work in the duo Honey Point, which embraced neo-soul and jazzy house, Deepa brings a warm, intimate touch to her club sets, enhancing the dancefloor experience.

Jordyn Grant

Hi, I'm Jordyn. For some time now I've been exceptionably fortunate enough to pay my rent purveying, creating, and consuming art within the music & entertainment industry of so-called Australia. I hold a fervent belief that this country produces some of the best music on earth and with that belief comes an even more ardent charge for me (and those in positions like mine) to facilitate, protect, and support the art and artists making it- as best we possibly can.

Lachlan Herd

Lachlan Herd is the manager of Meganesia, a label specialising in techno, trance, and tek. Meganesia supports Australian-based artists and helps them reach international audiences. Since 2010, Lachlan has worked in curatorial and business management roles in music and visual arts across Australia's east coast.

Leslie Tiku

Leslie is an event producer in Sydney with extensive knowledge of club kid culture. He is a champion of the LGBTQ community's creativity, and he has most recently launched his career as a DJ, running his own LGBTQIA+ exclusive nightlife and entertainment booking agency and being the Vice President of a non-profit organisation known as Queers in Property NSW.

Mariana Campos / Maz

I’m a DJ, radio presenter, and event curator, with a passion for connecting communities through dance music. My journey began in 2020, teaching myself how to DJ. In 2022, I joined FBi Radio as a presenter and currently host the specialist show Mi Gente / My People. I’m also a member of INBRAZA, where I help curate events, host panels, and present our radio show via soundcloud. I’ve played at venues like The Abercrombie, Club 77, Shubz, and The Doorlist, always striving to create inclusive, vibrant spaces for diverse crowds.

Oscar Hoare

Oscar Hoare is a Sydney-based artist manager, festival programmer and touring agent with a practise spanning genres. Currently looking after the careers of rapper Zion Garcia, indie band Phoebe Rings, and DJ ealing, Oscar is also a programmer and touring agent at Mode Festival, a springtime contemporary music & arts festival held on Cockatoo Island. Previously, Oscar has been a part of the teams at Astral People and Phoenix Central Park, as well as a volunteer at FBi Radio.

Talia Jimenez / Tangela

Talia is a versatile DJ, promoter, radio host, label head, and music journalist. Her music project, Tangela, has taken her on tours across Australia and the EU. Her roots lie in Australia's bush and the Eora Inner West, where she ran DIY parties and festivals as dstreet, club <, and minutiae festival, and hosted Sunset on FBi Radio. As the head of the label Oomycota, she supports emerging underground psychedelic and organic techno artists. Talia also runs FBi Radio’s Dance Class program, a mentorship initiative for FLINTA DJs.

Yang Chen

Yang Chen is a passionate advocate for the underground music scene and the founder of Kast Agency, a platform that represents innovative artists. With a background as a DJ and saxophonist, she has a deep understanding of music and the creative process. Her expertise extends to event management, having worked at Crown Ruler handling bookings and logistics, as well as at High Note Bar, where she curated events and led panel discussions. Yang’s diverse experience and dedication make her a key player in promoting emerging musical talent.
